with the organization, which, since 1948, has served your community. The
Xenia Township Fire Department was founded by men and women from your
neighborhood, who dedicate their time and experience to provide fire
protection for your family and business. The
Xenia Township Fire
Department provides emergency services for the residents of Xenia
Township and Caesarscreek Township. Currently, the Xenia Township Fire
Department consists of an administration office and two fire stations
located North and South of the City of Xenia.
Xenia Township Fire Department utilizes the talents and abilities of
60 personnel (a combination of full-time, part-time and volunteer) to
provide these services. Personnel are based in 2 fire stations housing
12 pieces of emergency apparatus.
Xenia Township Fire Department provides fire protection services,
including firefighting, fire inspections, public safety education, and
special rescue with training on automobile crash extrication.
Emergency medical services are also a
major part of the department workload. Xenia Township Fire Department has nearly 40 personnel
cross-trained as EMTs and paramedics. They provide complete advanced
cardiac life support care using state-of-the-art technology. In
addition, Xenia Township Fire Department
medics provide care for victims of trauma, illness, and injuries.
The Xenia Township Fire Department Technical Rescue Team is
comprised of a dozen members who have special training and skills for
rope rescue and rappelling, below grade trench rescue, and confined space
rescue situations.
